A small shop, a very long shelf
We started with one duck on a kitchen windowsill and a suspicion that other people would like one too. Some years later we are the largest DCUK stockist in the United States, and the suspicion has held up.
Everything here is chosen by hand, one character at a time, and new ones arrive constantly. Nothing in the shop is a necessity. That is rather the point.

Harvested, not felled
Each character begins as a locally harvested bamboo offcut that would otherwise go to waste.

Skilled sculptors in Indonesia carve every duck individually, so no two are ever quite alike.

Boots and bonnets
A pair of spotty welly boots here, a straw hat there. Every defining detail is painted by hand.

Then a name, and the little dcuk pin, a mark of charm and quality before it goes on its way.
